Today, January 10th, 2022, SAPICI becomes part of the Sun Chemical DIC Group, a leading producer of packaging and graphic solutions, colour and display technologies, functional products, electronic materials, and products for the automotive and healthcare industries.
In 2017, Sun Chemical and Sapici started a strategic alliance to market SAPICI’s lamination adhesives portfolio under the Sun Chemical commercial brand name. Together we have successfully provided the global flexible packaging market with our innovative lamination adhesives, including such unique technologies as SAPICI’s ultra-low monomer adhesives.
By joining the Sun Chemical DIC Group, we will be able to leverage up the same synergy in all the market segments in which we operate such as coating, adhesives, elastomers and sealants. By adding the high-tech polymers range of SUN/DIC we will widen our product portfolio, we will strengthen and improve our commercial network on a global scale, thus facilitating the market development of our unique products such as ultra-low monomer isocyanates, bio-source derivatives and other high-performance systems.
